Job summary
Atlas Global Talent represents an established global logistics organization seeking a Business Development Manager for its international freight forwarding division. This 100% remote, US-based sales role focuses on developing new business across international air and ocean freight.
You'll prospect, build relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers and others moving freight internationally. You will work with senior leaders to develop tailored solutions and maintain a strong pipeline
Qualifications
- 6+ years in freight forwarding sales or business development.
- Strong experience selling international air and ocean freight.
- Proven track record of independently winning new customers.
- Established relationships with importers and/or exporters.
- Understanding of international freight forwarding and trade lanes.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business across international air and ocean freight.
- Prospect and win importer/exporter accounts.
- Build a strong pipeline of international freight opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with Logistics Directors and Supply Chain leaders.
- Manage opportunities from prospecting through implementation.
