Job summary

Tobii Dynavox is seeking an Interim Funding Consultant to coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of product, repair, and rental orders. You will work with SLPs, government agencies, and educational institutions to ensure funding eligibility and timely processing.

The role requires strong communication skills, a background in health insurance or related experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Travel to the Pittsburgh office may be required a few times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 2–4 years related experience required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with SLPs on funding cases and instruct SLPs on document preparation and funding policies and regulations.
• Work with insurance providers, government agencies, and educational institutions to place new product, repair or rental orders.
• Track funding authorization cases to ensure timely completion.
• Verify eligibility with funding agencies using online resources and frequent communication.
• Review prior authorization documents against payer criteria.
• Research previous orders and payment history for repair/new orders.
• Enter and complete orders in the order management system database.
