Job summary

Tobii Dynavox is seeking an Interim Funding Consultant to coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of new product, repair, and equipment rental orders. This role works closely with SLPs, government agencies, and educational institutions to obtain order authorization and ensure documents meet third-party payer criteria.

You will track cases, verify eligibility, review documents for payer criteria, and communicate with clients and families about funding and co-pay requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree, or 2 – 4 years related experience
• Background in the health insurance field preferred
• Oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork abilities
• Customer service orientation

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with SLPs on funding cases and instruct on document prep and funding policies
• Work with insurance providers, government agencies, and educational institutions to place orders
• Track funding authorization cases ensuring timely resolution
• Verify eligibility using online resources and frequent funding agency contact
• Review prior authorization documents against payer criteria
• Enter and complete orders in the order management system database
• Advise clients and families on funding requests and co-payment requirements
• Resolve third party denials and provide consultation to finalize difficult funding cases
• Flag potential third-party payer challenges with supervisor
