Tobii Dynavox is seeking an Interim Funding Consultant to coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of product, repair, and rental orders. You will work with SLPs, government agencies, and educational institutions to obtain authorization and ensure documents meet payer criteria.

You will maintain strong communication with clients and families, review documentation, and navigate third-party payer policies to resolve funding cases. Travel to the Pittsburgh office is required a few times yearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 2–4 years related experience.
• Background in the health insurance field preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain communication with SLPs on funding cases and instruct on document prep and policies.
• Coordinate with insurance providers, government agencies, and educational institutions to process orders.
• Track funding authorization cases and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
• Verify eligibility using online resources and maintain contact with funding agencies.
• Review prior authorizations against third-party payer criteria.
• Research past orders and payment history for repair or new orders.
• Enter and complete orders in the order management system database.
• Advocate for clients and explain funding requirements to families and providers.
• Resolve denials and provide consults to finalize funding cases.
• Notify supervisor of potential third-party payer challenges.
