The Atlantic District is seeking an outgoing insurance sales agent in Blacksburg, VA to build a personal client base within a supportive team. You will analyze client risks and craft coverage plans that bring peace of mind, while leveraging the firm’s established reputation for excellence.

This role emphasizes curiosity, active listening, and genuine helpfulness in a community-centered environment. In-office collaboration is expected, with work-from-home flexibility and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property & Casualty license required.
• Three or more years in direct insurance sales or account management.
• Proven track record of meeting sales production goals.
• Ability to explain complex policy details clearly with clients.
• Comfort with digital CRM and agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to tailor protection plans.
• Research and develop local leads to grow agency footprint.
• Prepare quotes and present them transparently to clients.
• Maintain policyholder accounts and review renewals for accuracy.
• Coordinate with underwriters to streamline applications.
• Participate in local networking events to build community ties.
