Job summary

The Atlantic District in Forest, Virginia is seeking an Expansion Agent to grow our local footprint with personalized service. You will identify and cultivate new client relationships, assess risk profiles, and guide prospects from first contact to policy binding.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property and Casualty license.
• 3+ years direct insurance sales or related client-facing role.
• Strong comfort with cold calling and generating new business.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for community networking.
• Proficiency in agency management systems and digital lead tracking.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new client relationships throughout the Forest, Virginia area.
• Assess the individual risk profiles of prospective clients to provide tailored coverage recommendations.
• Manage a consistent pipeline of leads from initial contact to successful policy binding.
• Participate in local community events and chambers of commerce to build a recognizable presence for the agency.
• Conduct thorough annual reviews to ensure existing clients feel confident and properly protected.
• Collaborate with the underwriting department to navigate complex applications and secure the best terms for our customers.
