Job summary

The Atlantic District is seeking an Expansion Agent to grow our footprint in Forest, Virginia. You will be the local face of the agency, building relationships and converting conversations into lasting partnerships while managing your own day and network.

Responsibilities include identifying new clients, assessing risk, and guiding customers through tailored coverage. You will engage with the community, participate in events, and work with underwriting to secure favorable terms for clients.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property and Casualty license is required.
• Minimum three years in direct insurance sales or related client-facing role.
• Proven ability to generate new business and meet sales targets.
• Strong public speaking and networking skills for community engagement.
• Experience with agency management systems and digital lead tracking.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new client relationships throughout the Forest, Virginia area.
• Assess risk profiles to provide tailored coverage recommendations.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of leads from initial contact to policy binding.
• Participate in local events and chambers of commerce to build agency presence.
• Conduct annual reviews to ensure client protection and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with underwriting to secure best terms for customers.
