MEDHOST, a division of Harris Computer, is seeking an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in the US, with a wage of $18-$26 per hour.

Responsibilities include learning hospital systems, researching claims, rebilling, and gathering necessary information to resolve unpaid claims, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and meeting deadlines.

Formación

• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes impacting insurance reimbursements.
• Proficiency with telephone systems for outbound/inbound calls.
• High attention to detail and strong numerical/applied arithmetic skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Timely follow-up on hospital patient accounts for insurance payment.
• Work 40–50 accounts per day for assigned payor(s).
• Gather demographic, medical records, and insurance information for claims.
