Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance-support training solutions that enhance Ryder employees' capabilities and productivity.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to craft instructional strategies, develop proposals, and ensure solutions align with business goals. This role requires staying current with adult learning principles and leveraging tools like Storyline

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or 8+ years in designing and developing e-learning, ILT, blended or performance support materials
Master's degree preferred in related field
Five or more years in education or business environment
Three years or more in designing, developing and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360 Suite
Adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
Knowledge of Storyline and other authoring tools
Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel

Responsibilities

Creates learning content and testing to support major training and assessment initiatives
Consults with SMEs and business owners to develop sound objectives, content, and implementation and evaluation strategies
Designs and develops learning project proposals
Ensures instructional design solutions align with objectives and outcomes, and communicates innovative ideas
Keeps up with emerging trends in learning methods and best practices
Collaborates with team members on projects
Performs other duties as assigned.
