Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Installation Engineer to join our innovative team, supporting clients across various locations from a home office. You will guide customers through installation processes, provide remote technical support, and ensure seamless integration of our products.

This role requires exceptional communication, strong networking and configuration knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively without on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support, installation, or field engineering role with a strong remote component.
• Excellent understanding of networking, software installation, and system configuration.
• Proficiency in remote access tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Exceptional communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote guidance and support for the installation and setup of client systems and software.
• Conduct virtual troubleshooting sessions to resolve technical issues encountered during installation or operation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive remote installation documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to escal and resolve complex customer issues.
• Monitor system performance remotely and proactively address potential problems.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective remote communication and problem resolution.
