Job summary

Scale Computing is seeking a Deployment Technician to execute customer installation projects, configure network hardware, and provide real-time support during managed services deployments.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, problem-solving, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, including on-call rotations and occasional overnight installs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in deployments, IT support or field services.
• Solid networking fundamentals (IP, VLANs, DHCP, switch conf).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage remote sessions and coordinate across teams.
• Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, Jira and DaySmart.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote and on-site installations of network hardware (firewalls, switches, wireless APs).
• Support onsite technicians via video/voice platforms (Google Meet, Dialpad).
• Manage multiple installations, track milestones, provide timely check-ins and QA.
• Update task statuses in Jira, DaySmart and related systems; escalate as needed.
