Job summary

The Inside Sales Representative role at Mattr is a key support for the Xerxes sales team, handling incoming inquiries from initial contact through quotation and proposal delivery. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, estimating, customer service, project coordination, or related role.
• Experience or exposure to construction, civil engineering, or project-based work is preferred.
• Ability to review blueprints, specifications, RFQs, project requirements, cost inputs, and technical details to support accurate quotation and proposal development.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate project requirements and track market trends using data and technology.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales Managers, customers, engineering/design support, and cross-functional stakeholders to align quotes and technical requirements.
• Proficiency with sales, quoting, reporting, and analysis tools; familiarity with Salesforce and Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate project takeoffs by gathering bid information, reviewing blueprints, RFQs, and costs, and preparing complete bid packages.
• Partner with Sales Managers to review requirements, evaluate costs, determine pricing, and support proposals.
• Coordinate with third-party engineers and internal teams to confirm solutions meet standards and develop customized opportunities.
• Follow up on quotes and opportunities, maintain backlogs, track quotes, and generate pipeline updates.
• Provide first-point-of-contact support for inbound leads and customer questions, communicating updates and delivery timelines.
• Use data tools to track market trends, support sales activity, and contribute to quotes and project follow-ups.
