Job summary

Xerxes is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support the sales team by managing incoming opportunities from inquiry through quotation. You’ll help ensure customer needs are understood, coordinate quotes, and maintain the opportunity pipeline.

This fully remote role in the United States (Eastern time) requires strong communication, familiarity with quoting tools, and the ability to collaborate with sales, engineering, and support teams; travel is limited to onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, estimating, or related roles.
• Experience or exposure to construction, civil engineering, or project-based work is preferred.
• Ability to review blueprints/specifications/RFQs and support quotation development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate bid information and complete bid packages for review.
• Review customer/project requirements and assist in pricing, margin analyses, and proposal development.
• Coordinate with internal/external engineering resources to meet technical standards.
• Follow up on quotes, maintain backlogs, and escalate time-sensitive opportunities.
• Provide first point of contact for inbound inquiries and maintain customer records.
• Utilize data tools to track market trends and support sales activity.
