Job summary

Elanco is hiring a Customer Development Specialist (Inside Sales) for the US, focused on Chesapeake (Baltimore, DC) area. You will build long-term veterinary relationships, use CVS selling, and leverage Veeva CRM to drive sales while staying current on product launches.

The role requires an associate degree or HS diploma with experience; CVS aptitude and CRM skills are essential, with travel 5-10%. Remote within US, relocation benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or HS Diploma / GED with equivalent experience.
• Experience: Inside sales or animal health industry experience.
• CVS aptitude and proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce/Veeva) and MS Teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with veterinary practices to meet sales targets.
• Collaborate with sales districts to plan and execute strategies in targeted accounts.
• Engage customers via multi-channel content and offers using Veeva CRM.
• Maintain knowledge of Elanco product portfolio to lead product launches and brand initiatives.
• Achieve sales objectives and metrics to drive territory success.
