Job summary

Elanco, NYSE: ELAN, seeks a Customer Development Specialist to drive inside sales for Pet Health across the Chesapeake region from a remote US location. You will build relationships with veterinary practices, execute CVS selling strategies, and partner with districts to plan targeted growth.

You will use Veeva CRM and Salesforce, maintain product knowledge, and meet sales objectives while enjoying relocation options, bonus opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and a commitment to diversity

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent experience.
• Experience: Inside sales or animal health industry experience.
• Top skills: CVS aptitude and CRM (Salesforce/Veeva) and MS Teams proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage long-term relationships with key veterinary practices to drive sales targets.
• Partner with sales districts to create business plans and nurture leads.
• Use multi-channel approaches to remotely engage customers with content and offers via Veeva CRM.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Elanco product portfolio to lead launches and initiatives.
• Execute sales objectives and metrics to ensure territory success.
