Job summary

Altera is seeking a highly organized Inside Sales Representative to support the field sales team and deliver best-in-class service to our US customers. You will be the operational link between account managers, FAEs, distribution partners, and end customers in support of the Lead-to-Order process.

This commission-based role handles order management, opportunity tracking, revenue forecasting, and back-office support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely pricing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business or related field.
• 3+ years in sales support, inside sales, or sales operations.
• Familiar with high-touch technical sales and distribution models.
• Proficient in CRM, Excel and ERP tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships with field sales and procurement.
• Provide back-office support including pricing, design registration review, and quotes.
• Coordinate orders with end customers, IP/tools licensing, and inquiries.
• Manage escalations on orders via distributors and Sales Service team.
• Coordinate samples and NPI support between sales, marketing, and operations.
• Analyze demand signals to prepare a consolidated sales forecast.
• Maintain accurate design registrations and opportunity data in CRM.
• Ensure correct distributor margin on each opportunity.
• Collaborate on contracts, pricing, and compliance with cross-functional teams.
