Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Specialist to support revenue growth across an assigned territory. This role combines virtual engagement with strategic field collaboration to build and expand customer relationships and move opportunities through the sales cycle.

The specialist will conduct virtual product presentations, qualify opportunities, and partner with field sales, service, and marketing to deliver value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• 1-3 years of sales experience; new graduates with a 3.2 GPA may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory by developing and executing growth plans.
• Prospect, qualify, and develop sales opportunities via phone, video, email, and digital engagement.
• Partner with field sales, service, marketing, and application teams to advance opportunities.
• Drive revenue through Waters instrumentation, informatics, consumables, and service agreements.
• Maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline and provide accurate forecasts via Salesforce CRM.
• Conduct virtual product presentations and business reviews with laboratory stakeholders.
• Identify customer needs and align Waters solutions to improve productivity and compliance.
• Develop strategic account plans to increase penetration and retention.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Present territory performance, pipeline updates, and insights to sales leadership.
