Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a Customer Operations team member to help shoppers and policyholders with auto and home insurance questions, renewals, and product navigation. This role blends sales and service in a fast-paced, fully remote environment, with a strong emphasis on solving problems and delivering exceptional service.

You’ll work with a range of carriers, learn the product inside out, and contribute to shaping the customer experience as Jerry continues to grow.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
• Genuinely friendly and positive attitude and willingness to work as a team.
• Strong work ethic.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Taking great care of our customers and catching issues customers didn’t know to ask about (coverage gaps, discounts, renewals).
• Answering inbound calls from customers shopping auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies, and policyholders needing changes.
• Getting deep on the product by knowing which carrier fits which customer and staying current with app changes.
• Problem solving to remove barriers between a customer and the right coverage.
• Processing service requests — vehicles, drivers, lienholders, policy documents.
• Contributing feedback to help ship product improvements.
