Job summary

Sci Corp in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Pre-Planning Advisor to sell pre-need arrangements and services. You will generate referrals, build trusted relationships with families, and coordinate with funeral directors and cemetery staff. The role includes flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends, to meet targets.

You’ll support families in times of grief with care and professionalism, while leveraging CRM tools and a strong sales mindset to meet quotas and grow the business.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of college or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Sales experience or 1–2 years of industry experience or equivalent education
• Previous experience with CRM systems is a plus
• Basic computer and technology skills within a sales environment

Responsibilities

• Lead generation through networking and referrals for at-need and pre-need arrangements
• Prospect a minimum of 4 hours daily when working 8 hours
• Obtain referrals from families served by visits after services
• Build community relationships and present planning guides to families
• Maintain activity levels and adapt schedule to meet targets
• Collaborate with funeral directors and cemetery staff to deliver high-quality service
• Support families in times of grief with empathy and timely follow-up
• Stay in touch with families to ensure satisfaction and future referrals
• Prepare for appointments with professionalism and attention to detail
