Service Corporation International is seeking a Self-motivated Pre-Planning Advisor to guide families through pre-need arrangements, working from home or in the field. You will generate referrals, meet a quota, and build trusted relationships with client families and the community.

The role emphasizes professional, compassionate service, prospecting four hours daily, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and a focus on long-term relationships that support families before and after loss.

Qualifications

• Must have high school education or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of college or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Sales experience or 1–2 years industry experience or equivalent education.
• CRM experience is a plus.
• Basic computer and technology skills within a sales environment.
• Ability to work in a team, as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and referrals through networking and community relations.
• Prospect at least 4 hours daily (when working 8 hours).
• Obtain referrals from families served and follow up after services.
• Explain and present planning guides to families.
• Maintain activity levels and adapt schedule to achieve results, including nights/weekends.
• Develop relationships with families and the community.
• Provide professional, timely service and build trust for future referrals.
• Collaborate with funeral directors and staff to deliver seamless service.
