Job summary

GCG is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to drive growth in the data center market. You will build relationships with decision makers, understand market needs, and shepherd orders from inquiry to delivery in a remote-friendly role.

You will engage in consultative selling, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure on-time shipments and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5 years of B2B inside sales experience, preferably in the Data Center space.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to pursue new business opportunities.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM.
• Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Develop familiarity with GCG Data Center solutions to provide customer support and educate customers on products, pricing, and availability.
• Understand the market to support strategic growth plans and hit annual goals.
• Nurture relationships with customers and suppliers to increase revenue as offerings expand.
• Manage drop-ship orders from suppliers and provide status updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Research and prospect for new business leads and opportunities using a consultative approach.
• Create and execute plans to hit year-over-year revenue growth targets.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing with customers and vendors; manage the book of business.
• Demonstrate full sales process including cold calling, handling objections, closing, and follow-up.
