Job summary

GCG is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to grow its data center infrastructure business. You will proactively build lasting relationships with key decision makers and suppliers, and drive revenue growth in a hybrid Chicago-based role.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of B2B inside sales, excellent communication, and hands-on experience with Salesforce and Oracle ERP. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business-to-business inside sales experience, preferably within the Data Center space.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and follow-up skills with ability to actively pursue new business opportunities.
• Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM and Oracle or comparable ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Develop familiarity with GCG Data Center solutions to provide customer support and educate customers about products, pricing, and availability.
• Support strategic growth plans and work toward annual goals.
• Nurture relationships with customers and suppliers to increase sales revenue.
• Manage drop-ship orders from suppliers and provide status updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Research and prospect for new business opportunities using a consultative sales approach.
