Job summary

VSP Vision Care is seeking a results-driven sales professional to develop and grow a broker base within a designated territory. You will craft creative outreach strategies, build strong relationships with brokers and accounts, and collaborate with Client Managers and Market Directors to win new business.

The role emphasizes meeting revenue goals, understanding healthcare products, and maintaining licensing as required.

Qualifications

• Three years of sales experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to achieve the established product/sales learning curve to achieve sales/revenue goals.
• Intermediate level computer skills and ability to learn and master internal computer systems.
• Demonstrated track record in meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility.
• Knowledge of underwriting, products, services, and the healthcare industry.
• Ability to achieve and maintain any applicable agent licensing requirements for any state(s) within assigned sales territory.
• For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFH)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFH), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment

Responsibilities

• Solicit and develop sales; maintain and grow broker base within an assigned territory to meet revenue goals.
• Execute and develop a creative sales strategy to contact prospective brokers and prospective accounts to create sales opportunities.
• Create solid business relationships and build rapport with prospective accounts and brokers.
• Collaborate with corresponding Client Managers and Market Directors within territory.
• Coordinate with Operations and other business partners to implement new clients and maintain broker relationships.
• Provide plan design options, sales information, and rate quotations to prospective accounts and brokers.
