Job summary

VSP Vision Care is seeking a proactive sales professional to expand the broker network and drive revenue within a defined territory. You will craft and execute creative sales strategies, contact prospective brokers and accounts, and build strong business relationships.

You will collaborate with Client Managers and Market Directors, leveraging your knowledge of healthcare products and underwriting. The role supports both in-office and remote work with strong virtual engagement.

Qualifications

• Three years of sales experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to achieve sales and revenue goals.
• Intermediate level computer skills and ability to learn internal computer systems.
• Track record in meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility.
• Knowledge of underwriting, products, services, and the healthcare industry.
• Ability to meet agent licensing requirements for states in territory.
• For remote/hybrid roles, must demonstrate strong engagement in virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and develop sales creatively under general supervision; maintain and grow broker base within territory to meet revenue goals.
• Execute a creative sales strategy to contact prospective brokers and accounts to create sales opportunities.
• Create solid business relationships and build rapport with prospective accounts and/or brokers; collaborate with Client Managers and Market Directors within territory.
