Job summary

VSP Vision Care is seeking a sales professional to creatively solicit and develop broker relationships, expanding the broker base within an assigned territory to meet revenue goals. You will contact prospective brokers and accounts, build solid business rapport, and execute a strategic sales approach.

Collaborate with Client Managers and Market Directors, coordinate with Operations, and provide plan design options and rate quotes to new accounts and brokers to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Three years of sales experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to achieve the established product/sales learning curve to achieve sales/revenue goals.
• Intermediate level computer skills and ability to learn and master internal computer systems.
• Demonstrated track record in meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility.
• Knowledge of underwriting, products, services, and the healthcare industry.
• Ability to satisfy agent licensing requirements for states in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and develop sales; grow broker base within an assigned territory to meet revenue goals.
• Execute and develop a creative sales strategy to contact prospective brokers and accounts.
• Create solid business relationships and build rapport with accounts and brokers.
• Collaborate with Client Managers and Market Directors within territory.
• Coordinate with Operations and other partners to implement new clients and maintain broker relationships.
• Provide plan design options, sales information, and rate quotations to accounts and brokers.
