Qualifikationen

• Experience as inside property claims specialist or equivalent in insurance.
• College degree or equivalent education in insurance or business.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, settlement techniques, and claims management practices.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses within six months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Investigate and Resolve Property Claims: review personal and commercial property losses, assess coverage, estimate damages, negotiate settlements and close claims.
• Deliver Customer-Focused Claims Service: communicate with policyholders by phone and other channels, explain claim decisions and provide a responsive experience.
• Coordinate External Claims Support: assign contractors and independent adjusters when inspections or expertise are needed and review their work.
• Support Specialized Claims Activities: assist resolution specialists with contents valuation and depreciation holdback calculations.
• Maintain Compliance and Documentation: follow established claims procedures for communication, coverage verification, loss investigation, valuation, reporting, negotiation, and settlement.
• Meet Productivity Expectations: investigate and close an average minimum of 70 claim elements per month, or 85 for contents-heavy roles.
• Contribute to Catastrophe Response: support catastrophe claims operations across the service territory, including overnight travel or extended stays.
• Collaborate Across Teams: maintain communication with agents, sales, underwriting, marketing, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Maintain Required Licensing: obtain and maintain applicable licenses and pass state exams within six months.
