Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) based in the United States to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve property insurance claims via phone and remote channels. You will handle personal and commercial property losses, coordinate with independent adjusters and contractors, and ensure compliant, timely settlements.

The role requires strong investigative judgment, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a steady monthly workload.

Qualifications

• Relevant inside property claims experience in insurance.
• College degree or equivalent education in insurance or business.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, and settlement practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses within six months.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve personal and commercial property claims; assess coverage and damages.
• Communicate with policyholders by phone and other channels to explain decisions.
• Coordinate with contractors and independent adjusters for inspections and reviews.
• Assist resolution specialists with contents valuation and depreciation holdback calculations.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with established claims procedures.
• Meet productivity targets (70 claim elements per month; 85 for contents-focused roles).
• Support catastrophe claims operations across the service territory, including potential travel.
• Collaborate with agents, underwriting, marketing, and other stakeholders.
