Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking an experienced Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) based in the United States. The role handles both personal and commercial property losses, including structural damage, contents, ALE, scheduled property, and business income claims, via phone and remote channels.

You will investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims, coordinate with independent adjusters and contractors, and ensure compliance with policy coverage and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as an inside property claims specialist in insurance.
• Ability to investigate, assess damages, negotiate settlements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with policyholders and partners.
• Willingness to obtain state adjuster license within six months.
• Experience handling commercial property claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and Resolve Property Claims: review losses, assess coverage, estimate damages, negotiate settlements, close claims.
• Deliver customer-focused service via phone and internal channels.
• Coordinate with contractors and independent adjusters for field inspections.
• Assist resolution specialists with tasks like contents valuation and depreciation calculations.
• Follow established claims procedures for communication, coverage verification, and settlement.
• Meet productivity targets for claim elements per month.
• Support catastrophe claims operations as needed.
• Collaborate with agents, underwriting, and other stakeholders.
