Qualifications

• 5+ years of IP PCS coding experience.
• CCS certification is required.
• Experience in OP coding is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with DRG assignment.

Responsibilities

• Examine the full medical record to determine principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures.
• Accurately sequence diagnoses and procedures with high accuracy.
• Strive for optimal DRG assignments with system support.
• Maintain steady productivity and quality levels.
• Request additional information when needed for accurate coding.
