Signature Performance is seeking a passionate Inpatient Medical Coder for a remote opportunity to work with healthcare documentation. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of anatomy, clinical disease processes, and coding conventions to accurately assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in Inpatient Coding.
• Certification required: CCS, CIC, RHIA, or RHIT.
• Excellent communication and computer skills necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
• Strong organizational skills to follow client procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to inpatient visits.
• Review provider notes and clinical documentation for accuracy.
• Educate Clinical Documentation Improvement team on coding guidelines.
• Utilize resources to assign ICD-10 codes efficiently.
• Meet coding productivity and quality standards.
