Datavant is seeking an Inpatient Auditing Specialist to perform inpatient facility coding audits for onboarding, focused reviews, and service level agreements, using MS DRG/APR DRG assignments. The role provides clear rationale for changes and access to documentation references.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility inpatient coding experience and/or auditing.
• CCS (required) and RHIA or RHIT preferred.
• Maintain 95% DRG accuracy rate.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner and other EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Performs inpatient facility coding audits according to scope of work for onboarding, focused reviews or SLAs.
• Provides concise rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases to ensure workflow and turnaround.
