Datavant is the data collaboration platform trusted for healthcare. As an Inpatient Auditing Specialist, you will audit inpatient facility coding, provide rationale, and support onboarding and service reviews.

This role is fully remote with a flexible schedule, and involves guidance on coding quality and compliance under HIPAA. We require CCS and prefer RHIA/RHIT; 5+ years inpatient coding/auditing; Epic/Cerner experience; compensation ranges $35-$45 per hour and benefits like 401k match and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility inpatient coding experience and/or auditing.
• Maintain 95% DRG accuracy rate.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner and other EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Performs inpatient facility coding audits per scope of work using MS DRG/APR DRGs.
• Provides concise rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Keeps up with regulatory changes and prioritizes multiple cases.
