Job summary

Datavant is seeking an Inpatient Auditing Specialist for remote work with a flexible schedule. You will perform inpatient facility coding audits, explain changes with precise documentation, and stay current with regulatory updates. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential.

Minimum 5+ years in inpatient coding/auditing with CCS certification, and Epic/Cerner experience. This PRN-friendly role offers training and mentorship within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility inpatient coding experience or auditing.
• Maintain 95% DRG accuracy.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, and other EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Facility coding audits for onboarding, focused reviews, and SLAs.
• Provide concise rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
• Organize multiple cases to optimize workflow and turnaround.
• Educate coders through the auditing process.
• Work professionally, efficiently, and positively.
