Job summary

Datavant, a data collaboration platform for healthcare, seeks an Inpatient Auditing Specialist. This fully remote role focuses on inpatient facility coding audits, providing rationale, and supporting education for customers while ensuring high DRG accuracy.

You will use Epic, Cerner and other EMRs, maintain 95% DRG accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 1,000 USD sign-on bonus is available, with benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility inpatient coding experience and/or auditing.
• CCS (required), RHIA or RHIT preferred.
• Maintain 95% DRG accuracy rate.
• Experience with various software including Epic, Cerner, and other prevalent EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Performs Inpatient Facility coding audits according to scope of work, for onboarding, focused, SLAs or other reviews, using MS DRG or APR DRGs.
• Provides concise rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases to ensure workflow and turnaround.
• Provides coder education via auditing process.
