Pena4 Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Medical Coder (CCS certified) for a 100% remote role. The candidate should have at least 5 years of IP PCS coding experience and 3 years of OP coding experience preferred.

A CCS certificate is required, and a coding assessment test will be administered. Responsibilities include coding all inpatient and outpatient accounts, ensuring accurate diagnoses and procedures, and striving for optimal DRG assignments with high productivity and quality.

Competenze

• At least 5 years of IP PCS coding experience.
• At least 3 years of OP coding experience preferred.
• CCS certificate is required.
• Coding assessment test will be required to complete and pass.

Mansioni

• Examines the complete medical record to determine principal and secondary diagnoses, procedures, and complications.
• Accurately sequences diagnoses and procedures with 95% accuracy.
• Strives to obtain optimal DRG assignments on each record coded with system help.
• Maintains steady productivity and quality.
