Job summary

ABB is seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to lead growth in the Greater Ohio territory, with a focus on Data Center, Renewable, and Waste Water markets. The role travels frequently, engaging engineers, contractors, and end users to drive ABB product specifications and support large-scale deployments.

You will collaborate with Market Development Managers to build a robust sales pipeline, convert end users and OEMs, and analyze market needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial sales or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of ABB installation products and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive Specifications & Technical Support with engineers to get ABB products specified in projects.
• Convert End Users and OEMs to ABB products through technical guidance and relationship building.
• Engage with contractors to ensure ABB products are used in projects.
• Build and maintain local relationships with engineers, installers, distributors, end-users and industry partners.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and align strategies with business objectives.
• Conduct market analysis and provide VOC to Market Development Manager and Product Managers.
