Job summary

ABB is seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to drive growth in data center, renewable, and wastewater markets across Ohio. You will collaborate with Market Development Managers to specify ABB products in projects, help convert end users and OEMs, and engage contractors to ensure successful deployments.

This role requires extensive travel within Ohio, with a mix of local and overnight trips, and a strong focus on building relationships with engineers and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial sales or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of ABB installation products and applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive specifications with engineers to get ABB products in projects.
• Convert end users and OEMs through technical expertise and relationships.
• Engage with contractors to ensure ABB products are used in projects.
• Build local relationships with engineers, installers, distributors, and end-users.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline in collaboration with Market Development Managers.
• Conduct market analysis and provide VOC to MD Managers and Product Managers.
