Job summary

The Fitch Company is seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong technical foundation to grow our electrical engineering, controls engineering, and systems integration business. This role will develop and expand relationships across industrial process and manufacturing markets, including food and beverage, chemical processing, industrial manufacturing, utilities, and pulp and paper.

Remote position with approximately 50% travel to customer sites, industry events, and company meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside sales or business development in industrial facilities.
• 3+ years calling on industrial facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Existing relationships with site leadership, E&I, and corporate engineering.

Responsibilities

• Grow electrical engineering, controls engineering, and systems integration bookings across industrial markets.
• Land and expand new customer sites through self-generated outreach and referrals.
• Develop and manage a multi-quarter pipeline with accurate CRM forecasts.
• Coordinate with Fitch's engineering and delivery teams to convert opportunities into repeat work.
