Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker Inc. is seeking an Industrial Account Manager to service a remote/field sales territory in the United States.

You will grow the distributor network, demonstrate SB&D’s full product portfolio, and provide cost-saving analyses to customers while managing travel, reporting, and promotions. Requirements include a Bachelor's/associate degree (or 5+ years of trade experience), 2+ years in industrial sales, and proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/associate degree or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience.
• 2+ years of direct industrial sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines.
• CRM experience (Salesforce) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and develop a sales territory across distributors.
• Demonstrate value of the portfolio; run product trials and cost analyses.
• Provide ongoing sales service: analysis, inventory control, promotions.
• Handle territory reporting, travel management and forecasts.
• Keep distributors informed about products and sales priorities.
• Create and present value-based communications with distributors and users.
• Travel up to 35% overnight within territory.
