Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Account Manager to join the Industrial Sales team in a remote/field role covering a designated territory in the Northwest.

You will manage a distributor network and end-user accounts, demonstrate the full portfolio, and deliver cost-saving analyses to customers. You will support customers with sales analysis, inventory control, and promotions, while handling administrative tasks and region-wide reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/associate degree or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience.
• 2+ years of direct industrial sales experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM preferred.
• Demonstrated time management skills, ability to set priorities.
• Must be able to develop and present programs to both customers and sales organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and develop a sales territory with distribution customers across the product brands.
• Demonstrate the value of the product portfolio and provide cost savings analyses.
• Support customers with sales analysis, inventory control, and promotions.
• Handle administrative tasks: travel, samples, forecasts, and reports.
• Keep distributors informed about products and motivate sales personnel.
• Create and present value-based communication with distribution and end users.
• Travel approximately 35% overnight within territory.
