Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an Industrial Account Manager for a remote/field-based role serving the Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI area. You will manage a sales territory, demonstrate SB&D’s portfolio, and provide cost-savings analyses to customers.

Expect 35% travel and a comprehensive benefits plan. Candidates should have a related degree or equivalent trade experience, 2+ years of direct industrial sales, and proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/associate degree in a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience in a shop environment.
• 2+ Years of direct sales experience in industrial sales is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• CRM experience with Salesforce.com or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and develop a sales territory with distributors.
• Demonstrate value of the product portfolio and provide cost-saving analysis.
• Support customers with sales analysis, inventory control, and promotions.
• Handle territory reporting, travel planning, and forecasting.
• Motivate distributors and focus on value-added services.
• Create and present programs to customers and sales teams.
• Travel approximately 35% within territory.
