Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring an Industrial Account Manager for a remote/field-based role in Washington. You will manage a sales territory, grow distributor relationships, and demonstrate the value of our full portfolio including DeWalt, Stanley, Lenox, Proto, Irwin.

You will travel within the territory (approximately 35% overnight) and support customers with sales analysis, inventory control, and promotions while maintaining timely reporting and program presentations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/associate degree or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience in a shop environment.
• 2+ Years of direct sales experience in industrial sales preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and develop a sales territory with a matrix of distribution customers supporting the brand portfolio.
• Demonstrate value of product portfolio by identifying opportunities and providing cost savings analyses.
• Support customers with sales service in sales analysis, inventory control, and promotions.
• Manage administrative aspects and timely reporting for territory management (travel, samples, forecasts, etc.).
• Keep distributors informed about products and focus sales on value-added service.
