Job summary

Safeguard Law Group, PLLC. is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our Indiana practice remotely.

The ideal candidate will draft pleadings and memoranda, manage a heavy caseload, and communicate effectively with clients and our New York head office via telecommunication tools. Ideal candidates will be admitted to the Indiana bar, with at least 1 year of law firm experience, strong organization, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Indiana.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with management and staff.
• Proficient legal research; LexisNexis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a heavy, diversified caseload in Indiana.
• Communicate with clients about matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Review and draft agreements; negotiate with opponents.
• Conduct legal research on contract and consumer-law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances as needed.
