Safeguard Law Group, a consumer protection law firm, seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join our Illinois practice. Candidates must be admitted to the Illinois Bar and have at least 1 year of law firm experience, with strong organizational and writing skills to manage a heavy workload.

The role involves drafting pleadings and memoranda, and coordinating with our New York headquarters via telephone and email. While based from home, travel to in-court appearances is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a heavy and diversified caseload in Illinois.
• Communicating with clients regarding matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and memoranda; reviewing and drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conducting legal research related to contract and consumer law.
• Travel for in-court appearances as needed (role is home-based).
