The ideal candidate will draft pleadings and memoranda, manage a heavy caseload, and serve clients with professionalism and integrity. This role requires Virginia bar admission, at least 1 year of law firm experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work remotely while coordinating with our New York headquarters via email

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Superior organizational & time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with management and staff.
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of clients in Virginia.
• Communicating with clients regarding their matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conducting legal research related to contract law and other consumer law issues.
• Travel to court appearances as required.
