MAXIMUS is seeking a Senior IBM COBOL Developer to support the IRS client in a fully remote role. The candidate must have a minimum of five years of IBM COBOL development experience and an active Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI).

Main duties include designing, coding, testing, and debugging COBOL modules, DB2 interfaces, and batch processes while ensuring alignment with system requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five (5) years of relevant IBM COBOL development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of COBOL-based modules aligned to IRS requirements.
• Design, code, test, and troubleshoot COBOL programs and interfaces.
• Review documentation and perform unit testing; contribute to code reviews.
