Maximus is seeking a Senior IBM COBOL Developer to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client in a remote capacity. This role requires at least five years of IBM COBOL experience, with DB2 and CICS proficiency, and the ability to design, unit test, and maintain COBOL programs.

Experience with JCL and batch processing is preferred; candidates must hold an active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI).

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI) required.
• At least four (4) years of experience with IBM COBOL programming language.
• Experience with DB2 and IBM DB2 utilities.
• Experience with CICS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface with all levels of management.
