Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to lead enterprise identity and access management initiatives, focusing on AD, Entra ID, SSO, and governance across a national remote workforce.

The role emphasizes M&A integration, cross-domain authentication, automation, and securing access controls in a complex healthcare environment. Strong scripting and collaboration with security and IT teams are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
5+ years of progressive IAM engineering experience.
Experience with M&A integration projects preferred.
Strong command of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, and Group Policy.
Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM.
Experience with IdPs and governance suites such as Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, SailPoint, or ForgeRock.
Scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

Lead IAM workstreams for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures.
Consolidate disparate identity providers (IdPs) into a unified enterprise SSO platform.
Design and execute cross-domain authentication and federation strategies.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable IAM solutions including SSO, LCM, IGA, and PAM.
Develop automated workflows and API-driven integrations to streamline onboarding, transitions, and offboarding.
Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for IAM configuration management.
Design and enforce enterprise SSO security policies and RBAC frameworks.
Conduct regular access reviews and support IT compliance audits.
