Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to lead identity and access management initiatives within a hybrid environment. You will consolidate IdPs, implement SSO and lifecycle tooling, and ensure secure, compliant access across AD and Entra ID ecosystems.

The role requires 5+ years in IAM, proficiency with AD/Entra ID, SAML/OIDC, and automation scripting. You will collaborate with Security, IT Ops, HR, and Dev teams to align IAM with business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IAM experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions.
• Experience supporting M&A integration projects is preferred.
• Strong command of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, and Group Policy management.
• Extensive knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM).
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation and lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of Zero Trust, Least Privilege, RBAC, and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM workstreams for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (M&A).
• Consolidate disparate IdPs into a unified enterprise SSO platform.
• Design cross-domain authentication and federation strategies under tight timelines.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable IAM solutions (SSO, LCM, IGA, PAM).
