Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior IAM Engineer to lead M&A integration and enterprise SSO initiatives across AD and Microsoft Entra ID. You will design, implement, and operate scalable IAM solutions including SSO, LCM, IGA, and PAM while partnering with security, IT ops, HR, and development teams.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC, policy enforcement, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, SOX). You’ll mentor juniors, document architecture, runbooks, and contribute to risk-based authentication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive IAM engineering experience, incl. enterprise-scale implementations.
• Strong knowledge of AD, Entra ID, LDAP, and GPO management.
• Experience with SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM standards.
• Hands-on with IdPs and governance suites such as Okta, Ping, Entra ID, CyberArk, SailPoint, or ForgeRock.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM workstreams for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures.
• Consolidate disparate IdPs into a unified enterprise SSO platform.
• Design cross-domain authentication and federation strategies for tight timelines.
• Develop automated workflows and API-driven integrations to streamline lifecycle management.
• Implement IaC for IAM platform configuration management.
• Conduct access reviews and support regulatory audits (HIPAA, SOX).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IAM alignment with business processes.
